Group Policy Software Deployment Unable to obtain source

PROBLEM:
In migrating the software installation folder to a new server, a problem was discovered several days later in which the Group Policy Software Installation's stopped installing onto client PC's.

In fact on the Adobe Reader Installation Policy, it was uninstalling the previous  software put on by a Desktop PC tech who does not know anything about the way group policy works.

In checking event viewer, I noticed that the details of the event were indicated that it was unable to get to the source.

RESOLUTION:
I added "DOMAIN COMPUTERS" as having full control (overkill) on the security tab of the folder and then ran "gpupdate /force" and let it reboot. This time the software installation policy was able to install the needed software without any problems.
