Veeam Backup and Recovery Free Tool
The Veeam Backup and Recovery Free tool is an excellent tool that can be used to freely backup VMware VM's.
The only downside to this tool is that the Free option does not give you the ability to perform a Veeam Zip on a Schedule which performs a backup of the VM directly. You can manually use this tool to perform a Backup of the VM's OR you can set it to File Level Backup and backup the VMDK's directly on a scheduled task.
The Veeam Backup and Recovery Tool which covers unlimited VM's for an entire host is about $800 per license.
