Manage Novell File Shares

Type the following command:

cd /opt/novell/nss/mnt/.pools
ncpcon

This puts you into a mode where you can view and manage the rights within the Novell Linux Server

volume #this command lets you view the volume names
help rights#typing help and a command will show you the syntax
rights view <volume name> #this command will show you the rights to the volume
Example: rights view DATA_01 #this command shows the trustees to the volume
dismount <volume name> #this command dismounts a volume
Example: dismount DATA_01 #this command dismounts volume named DATA_01

mount <volume name> #this command mounts a volume
Example: mount DATA_01
