GroupWise Mobility Server: how to fix user accounts or re-index the database

Groupwise Mobility Service-used to push email out to mobile devices.

·         Web interface: https://ipaddressofserver:8120/login

·         If the mobility services go down, use the following commands:

o   To check status: rcgms status

o   To stop services: rcgms stop

o   To start services rcgms start

·         There is also a maintenance utility called “dsapp”. It is already installed on the server.

o   To run dsapp, open a terminal window

§  Type “dsapp”

§  Select #3 “database”, this will stop all mobility services.

§  Select “Vacuum”, this will clean up any dead records.

§  After vacuuming is complete, run “re-index”

§  After re-indexing is complete, exit back to main screen
